IAAF.org: Bekele attempts the double again at the World Cross Country

At a press conference before the IAAF World Cross Country Championships in St. Galmier/St. Etienne (France) Kenenisa Bekele stated that he will attempt another double win. The Ethiopian will compete at the short and the long distance. He has won both events for the last three years. But this time there are doubts behind his fomr since he was well off the pace due to a personal tradegy. His fiancee died at the beginning of the New Year.
