Gharib bound for Big Apple

Jaoaud Gharib who defended his World Championships marathon title in Helsinki last Saturday has signed-up for the United States top road running event. The 33-year-old Moroccan who was an easy winner of a second gold medal in Finland will make his debut in the ING New City Marathon on November 6, against a very strong field.
