While that will disappoint her British supporters, the consequence is that the senior womens events at the 32nd IAAF World Cross-Country Championships, Brussels, Belgium (20/21 March 2004) promise to be even more competitive than in recent years.
Kiplagat has learned from Radcliffes example
Lornah Kiplagat, Kenyan-born, but wearing Hollands colours since marriage to her manager, Peter Langerhorst, has least reason to be in awe of Radcliffe after her four-second victory over 10km on the roads of Puerto Rico last month.
