The international athletics federation IAAF has now ratified the world record mark of 2:03:38 hrs by Kenyan Patrick Makau at the BMW BERLIN MARATHON on September 25^th, 2011. Also ratified was Makau´s world record for 30 km as a split time of the same marathon.
