After the cancellation of the Spielbank Berlin New Year's Eve Run we had hoped to start out an active new year with the Berlin New Year's Run, as usual. This would have been a very good thing for the athletic community right now during these difficult times. However, in consideration of the extended current regulations due to the COVID -19 pandemic and to protect the health of all, we have to cancel the 50th Berlin New Year's Run on January 1, 2021 - despite a well thought-out hygienic safety concept.
As big as the disappointment is, we see (headlamps-) light at the end of the pandemic tunnel, and we are fervently looking forward to the first events of the new season.
