Damenorchester Salomé Soul-Funk

Every note is perfect: the Berlin DAMENORCHESTER SALOME was founded in 1997 by their bandleader and pianist. They are masters of the stylistic sounds of the last century and are as diverse and international as our metropolis, playing singing and dancing with this all female “pocket big band” in a fast paced trip through swing and jazz, Latin and soul music. With charm and speed, cheeky and classy, eight fabulous ladies produce extraordinary entertainment! The Damenorchester Salome is home in Berlin (specifically in Schöneberg) with an international cast, made up of musicians from Germany, the USA, Austria, Spain and Great Britain. They have been playing on the BERLIN MARATHON course since 2006, and can be seen at other times at festivals, concert halls, hotels, dance halls, garden parties, street festivals, celebrations, sporting events, variety shows and theatres.
