Inline skater

  General information

• Registration for the 2020 BMW BERLIN-MARATHON Inlineskating  is possible on the skater website.
• There will be only small changes in the registration procedure for the 2020 BMW BERLIN-MARATHON Inlineskating.
• For skaters, the minimum age of 17 years set by the World Federation applies.

  Dates

• NEW:Registration opens on October 1, 2018.
• The 2020 BMW BERLIN-MARATHON takes place on September, 26. (subject to regulatory approvals)

  Registration fee

• The fee for the first 4,000 skaters is 75 Euros, thereafter 95 Euros.

Tour operator

  General information

• This is the way to get a guaranteed race entry for the 2020 BMW BERLIN-MARATHON.
• Official tour operators offer race spots as part of a travel package (eg. with hotel and/or travel).
• That is also valid for groups that want to run together.

  Dates

• Guaranteed race entries, depending on availability, can be booked through different official tour operators until summer 2020 .
• The 2020 BMW BERLIN-MARATHON takes place on September, 27. (subject to regulatory approvals)

  Alternative way to a race entry

• More guaranteed race entries are offered by our official charity partners. You can also select these option after the entry drawing has been completed and you are still in need of a race number.

Charity partner

  General information

• This is the way to get a guaranteed race entry for the 2020 BMW BERLIN-MARATHON.
• Our official charity partner Realbuzz (UK) as well as additional charities, offer guaranteed race spot in conjunction with raising money for a good cause.
• That is also valid for groups that want to run together.

  Dates

• On December 4, 2019 at 9 am (CET), an additional group of 1,000 race numbers is available for 190 Euros, of which 65 Euros will be donated to the RTL Charity Marathon. The amount of donations will be donated in full to a charity project for Berlin children.
• Guaranteed race entries, depending on availability, can be booked through our official charity partner Realbuzz (UK) as well as additional charities until summer 2020.

  Alternative way to a race entry

• More guaranteed race entries are offered by our official tour operators. You can also select these option after the entry drawing has been completed and you are still in need of a race number.

Jubilee-Club

  General information

• All runners in the Jubilee-Club are guaranteed a personal starting spot for the 2020 BMW BERLIN-MARATHON.
• Anyone who has been at least 10 finishes at the BERLIN-MARATHON can become a member of the Jubilee-Club.
• More detailed information, such as route, start documents or start times, you get in our overview.

  Dates

• It is not necessary to register in the entry drawing.
• You will receive a special information in January 2020 explaining the registration process.
• If you have not received an email by the end of January 2020, please contact us at jubilee@scc-events.com.
• The 2019 BMW BERLIN-MARATHON takes place on September, 27. (subject to regulatory approvals)

• The registration fee is 125 Euros per runner.

Entry Drawing single runners

  General information

• We will be using the entry drawing procedure for the 2020 BMW BERLIN-MARATHON as is common at other marathon events in the Abbott World Marathon Majors Series (AbbottWMM).
• We will send out a confirmation email after the application has been submitted.
• Multiple entries will not be considered.
• More detailed information, such as route, start documents or start times, you get in our overview.

• Registration deadline: October 1, 2019 - October 31, 2019.
• It does not matter when you register within that timeframe, so feel free to take your time.
• The results of the drawing will be announced by email from November 27 on.
• The 2020 BMW BERLIN-MARATHON takes place on September, 27.(subject to regulatory approvals)

  Registration fee and Banking

• The registration fee is 125 Euros per runner.
• You will be required to submit all of your relevant data during the registration phase, including your bank or credit card informations with permission to charge your account (ONLY upon being selected in the drawing to participate).
• Your personal registration is binding.
• If your name is drawn, the participant fee will be booked from your account.
• The bank or credit card informations will be deleted for everyone who is not selected in the drawing.
• It will not be possible to transfer or cancel your race entry after registration and/or draw!

  Alternative ways to a race entry

• Would you like to run together with someone or with a group of two or three runners? Then select the new path to the entry drawing for teams (only for 2 to 3 runners).
• Would you like to secure a definite starting spot for yourself or a running group? Then select the path to the guaranteed starting spots and register via a tour operator or charity partner. You can also select one of these options after the entry drawing has been completed and you are still in need of a race number.

Entry Drawing Teams

  General information

• For the 2020 BMW BERLIN MARATHON we will be offering entry drawings for teams of 2 to 3 persons, who would like to run together.
• We will send out a confirmation email after the application has been submitted.
• Multiple entries will not be considered.

  Special Team information

• You can either enter the drawing as an individual or as part of a team. It is not permitted to enter both drawings.
• If you do attempt to register for both drawings, your data will be removed from the individual drawing and only the registered teammates will be entered into the drawing.
• If one team member is not able to participate, the other team members are, of course, allowed to start.
• Should the team be selected for participation, each team member runs “his or her own” BMW BERLIN-MARATHON.
• This is not a relay race. There is no team classification.

  Registration fee and Banking

• The registration fee is 125 Euros per runner.
• We require the pertinent data for all members when you register for the team drawing.
• This includes bank information with permission to direct debit or charge the credit card of one of the team members, which will only be implemented should the team be selected for participation.
• By registering, all team members are thus entering a personal binding agreement.
• The registration fees will be booked once a team has been successfully selected.
• The bank or credit card informations will be deleted for everyone who is not selected in the drawing.
• It is not possible to change or cancel your registration or entry into the drawing!

Fast runners

• Fast runners can secure a guaranteed race entry for the 2020 BMW BERLIN-MARATHON.
• We will send out a confirmation email after the application has been submitted.

  Qualification times

• Everyone who finished an AIMS-certified marathon in the last two years (2018/2019) under a specified time and can prove it with a list of results or race certificate qualifies to receive a race entry once we have verified the submitted information.
• As part of the registration process, you can upload your certificates, lists of results and proof of age as documents or provide URL links to the information.
• Male Runners: Age 18 to 44 (age group 2002 to 1976): under 2:45 hours – Male Runners Age 45 to 59 (age group 1975 to 1961): under 2:55 hours – Male Runners Age 60 and up (age group 1960 und older): under 3:25 hours
• Female Runners: Age 18 to 44 (age group 2002 to 1976): under 3:00 hours – Female Runners Age 45 to 59 (age group 1975 to 1961): under 3:20 hours – Female Runners Age 60 and up (age group 1960 und older): under 4:10 hours
• Should your submitted times not satisfy the criteria, you will be automatically be entered in the race entry drawing.
