In addition to Mayor Kai Wegner, Horst Milde and Uta Pippig as well as numerous runners took part in the ceremonial handover of the World Athletics Heritage Plaque on November 1, 2023. World Athletics is the umbrella organization for all national athletics federations.
Of course, the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON will also be on TV this year. Eurosport 1 will broadcast the marathon from the German capital from 9:00 to 12:00. This year's BMW BERLIN-MARATHON will take place on September 24. This major running event is one of the most prestigious marathons in the world.
