Your race material for the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON

All participants of the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON will receive their race material exclusively at the MARATHON EXPO by BRITA.

The pick-up must be made in person without exception. For this you need:

  • Your photo document (identity card, passport or driver's license)
  • Your start card which you receive 7 to 10 days before the event via e-mail and will be also available as a download in your user account

What you get:

The marathon's blue wristband is fastened around a wrist.

Athlete Wristband

Your athlete wristband, which will be placed on you at the entrance to the rate material pick-up.

IMPORTANT: Please do not remove the wristband under any circumstances, as entry to the start area will only be granted with a participation wristband!

Bib Number

Your personal bib number, including a Transponder for timekeeping on the back.

Your starting block is marked with a letter from A to K on your bib number.

The start number may not be changed or passed on to another person.

Extras

If you've booked extras such as a clothing bag, merchandise, or the adidas event T-shirt, you'll receive them at the EXPO.

The products and services you've booked are printed on your race number.

Accessibility Information

Athlete Wristband

You can pick up your athlete wristband in front of the entrance to Hangar 5 on the covered apron.

Please keep to the right at the wristband stations. An accessible pickup station has been set up there.

“Inclusion” counter

You'll find the “Inclusion” counter in Hanger 5 on the right-hand side.

You’ll receive your race material at the “Inclusion” counter.

If you are a Jubilee-Club member for the discipline handbike or wheelchair, you can pick up your race materials at the counter “Jubilee” – also located in Hangar 5. Of course you'll also have access to the Jubilee-Club Lounge.

In addition to your race number, you now have the option to pick up a back number with "Deaf Runner" printed on it. You can collect both at the "Inclusion" counter in Hangar 5.

You will have the opportunity to receive support in sign language when collecting your race number. Unfortunately, we are not yet able to provide this service throughout the entire opening hours of the EXPO. Please therefore contact us approximately two weeks before the EXPO to find out when the service will be available on site.

As a registered Guide runner, you will receive your bib number at the "Inclusion" counter at the EXPO.

Please come to the "Inclusion" counter together with the runner you are accompanying and your photo ID.

As a registered DUO-Team, you will receive your bib numbers at the "Inclusion" counter at the EXPO.

Please come to the "Inclusion" counter together with the participant you are accompanying and your photo ID.

Time slots for race material pick up

To avoid long waiting times, we have introduced a system for reserving time slots. Until September 21st, you have the option to reserve a slot via your user account. Here's how:

  1. Please log in to your user account.
  2. Select “My registrations” from the menu and then click on the “BMW BERLIN-MARATHON 2026” event tile.
  3. A window will open for booking an appointment.
  4. To change the slot, look for the green mark next to the participation fee in the overview of your orders.

Practical tip

To avoid queues, we recommend that you pick up your race materials on Thursday or Friday morning if possible.

Friday afternoon and Saturday can be very crowded.

Additional important information

  • Permitted bag size corresponds to the hand luggage size in the airplane: max. 55x40x25 cm. Larger bags are not allowed on the expo grounds. These can be deposited at the baggage deposit for a fee.
  • Pets are not allowed on the EXPO grounds.
  • If we have to temporarily close the exhibition halls during opening hours due to overcrowding, participants who have to collect their race material will have priority over regular visitors.
  • Please also note the list of prohibited items.
