Your race material for the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON
All participants of the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON will receive their race material exclusively at the MARATHON EXPO.
The packet pick up must be made in person without exception. For this you need:
- Your photo document (identity card, passport or driver's license)
- Your start card → which you receive 7-10 days before the event via e-mail and will be also available as a download in your user account
NOTE: Please be aware of the new location of the MARATHON EXPO. In 2025 it will take place at Messe Berlin.
What you get:
Athlete Wristband
Your athlete wristband, which will be placed on you at the entrance to the MARATHON EXPO.
IMPORTANT: Please do not remove it under any circumstances, as on the day of the event, entry to the start area will only be granted with a participation wristband!
Bib Number
Your personal bib number, incl. TAG on the back for timekeeping
You can recognise your starting group with a letter (A-K) on your bib number. The starting groups are allocated on the basis of the best time or expected finish time stated in your online registration.
The start number may not be changed or passed on to another person.
Extras
If booked, extras such as the adidas event shirt or other additional services such as clothing bag and merchandising are waiting for you at the you at the MARATHON EXPO.
Booked extras will be shown on your bib number.
Athletes with a hearing impairment:
You have the option of picking up a back number at the support desk that identifies you as such. This number is not mandatory, but it helps to support other participants when overtaking and in the case of a warning.
Athletes with visual impairment:
A guide number can also be collected at the support desk for registered guides. Please come with your guide and a photo ID to collect your guide start number at the support desk.

WHAT:
In addition to the race material, the MARATHON EXPO:
- a wide selection of national and international exhibitors from the fields of sport, active tourism, wellness and nutrition
- an extensive catering area
- exclusive BMW BERLIN-MARATHON products in the large merchandising area
Time slots for race material pick up
To avoid long waiting times, we have introduced a system for reserving time slots. Until September 15th, you have the option to reserve a slot via your user account:
- Please log in to your user account.
- Select “My registrations” from the menu and then click on the “BMW BERLIN-MARATHON 2025” event tile.
- A window will open for booking an appointment.
- You can book your slot in the period from July 31st to September 15th.
- To change the slot, look for the green mark next to your participation fee in your orders.
Note:
To avoid queues, we recommend that you pick up your race materials for the BMW BERLIN MARATHON on Thursday or Friday morning if possible. Friday afternoon and Saturday can be very crowded.
Important information:
- Permitted bag size corresponds to the hand luggage size in the airplane: max. 55x40x25 cm. Larger bags are not allowed on the expo grounds. These can be deposited at the baggage deposit for a fee (7€).
- Pets are not allowed on the EXPO grounds.
- If we have to temporarily close the exhibition halls during opening hours due to overcrowding, participants who have to collect their race material will have priority over visitors.
