The BMW BERLIN-MARATHON Inlineskating is organized according to the regulations of the German Roller Sports and Inline Federation (DRIV).
- all inline skater year 2009 and older are allowed to participate
- only inline skates (wheel size max. 125 mm) and quads are permitted
Starting April 25, 2026, the Sport-Club Charlottenburg will offer classes for beginners and advanced skaters on Saturdays (10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.).
Participants will practice safe inline skating together at Tempelhofer Feld.
Participation is open to everyone, regardless of club membership.
2:10 h (from crossing the start line to the finish line)
The cut-off point is at 3:10 p.m. at the Victory Column. Until 3:10 p.m., skaters have their last chance to take the circuit lap towards Ernst-Reuter-Platz and reach the finish line within the time limit. All skaters who arrive at the Victory Column after 3:10 p.m. will be diverted toward the finish line, regardless of the number of laps they have completed up to that point. This means that skaters who are too slow can cross the Brandenburg Gate and the finish line, but will not appear in the rankings because they have not skated the full marathon distance.

Whether you’re a beginner, an experienced skater, or chasing a new personal best – the FollowMe Marathon Guides will accompany you in small groups through the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON Inlineskating. They provide tips, set the pace, and help you make the most of drafting in a group. And if you simply want to enjoy the fun of skating together – you’re in the right place!
The price of 30 € includes the following services:
- Meet & Greet at the FollowMe Marathon Guiding booth at the EXPO on Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
- Group assignment and warm-up with your guide on Saturday morning

Wearing a helmet is required. It is not possible to start the race without a helmet. Further protective equipment is recommended.
